In the bustling football scene of Perth, Western Australia, the Bhutanese football league system stands tall as a beacon of opportunity and competition. Traditionally, football events in Perth followed a group format league cum knockout system. However, the inception of FBWA League One and League Two in the 2022 season heralded a new era of organized competition and progression.
 
In its maiden season, the qualifying round witnessed 30 teams battling for supremacy, with the top 12 earning coveted slots in the esteemed FBWA League One. The remaining 18 teams, though narrowly missing out on League One qualification, secured their positions in FBWA League Two, setting the stage for spirited competition and aspirational endeavors.
 
Phuensum United FC scripted history by clinching the championship title in the debut season of FBWA League One. Their remarkable feat epitomizes the grit and excellence that define Football Bhutan WA, serving as an inspiration for clubs across Perth to strive for greatness.

  1. FBWA League One (Level 1, 12 teams):The pinnacle of Bhutanese football in Perth, where top clubs vie for supremacy. However, the bottom two teams confront the challenge of relegation, emphasizing the league's competitive nature and the necessity of sustained performance.
  2. FBWA League Two (Level 2, 24 teams): A bustling hub of ambition and talent, where clubs aspire to ascend to League One. Here, the top two teams secure automatic promotion, fueling dreams of advancement and reinforcing the meritocratic ethos of the league system.
